We worship and serve YHWH as the One True God and that involves loving YHWH with all our heart, soul and might in obeying His commands. We understand this “One” to be a compound unity as defined by the Hebrew word, אחד Echad. We believe that YHWH is the only true living God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Father of Yeshua the Messiah (Jesus the Christ), who is unchanging and is the Creator and sustainer of the universe. [Gen 1:1; Exo 20:1-6; Exo 3:14-15; Deu 6:4-9; Isa 43:10-13; Isa 44:6; Mat 22:37-40; Act 7:32; Act 17:24-28]
We uphold the sixty-six canonical books of the Bible (The Scripture) as containing the inspired, unchanging, and eternal word of God in its original languages and submit our lives to its authority as we are guided by the Holy Spirit. We follow the principal of interpreting the New Testament through the perspective of the Old Testament allowing Scripture to interpret Scripture. [Deu 4:7-8; 2Tim 3:16-17; 2Pet 1:20]
We confess that Yeshua is the Jewish Messiah, the Son of the living God, spoken of by the biblical prophets. He is one with the Father and of the same divine nature, as an extension and manifestation of YHWH in human body. He is the living Word of YHWH, the only way to the Father and our ultimate example of faith and obedience. [Deu 18:18,19; Psa 2:7-9; Isa 52:13-53:12; Dan 7:13-14; Mat 16:16; Joh 1:29-30,45,49; Joh 10:30]
We acknowledge the work, the fruit, and the gifts of YHWH’s Spirit within the body of Messiah. The Holy Spirit is sent to His people to enable/cause them to walk in obedience to the Truth, to develop a godly character and through His various gifts help them edify each other within the body of the Messiah. Believers receive the Holy Spirit as a gift and are empowered to be Yeshua’s witnesses, proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom of God / Heaven. [Eze 36:27; Joe 2:28; Act 1:8; Gal 5:22-23; 1Cor 12-14; Eph 4:11-16]
We follow Yeshua the Messiah in His example of obedience to YHWH. That involves obedience to all the Scriptures as an act of faithfulness towards God. We acknowledge coming to full obedience of YHWH is a lifelong journey and as a starting point we uphold the principles of Acts 15:20-21 to abstain from things contaminated by idols; fornication; from eating what is strangled; from consuming blood; and we gather in observance on the weekly Sabbath and the annual feasts to study the Scriptures. [Exo 19:3-20:17; Lev 23; Deu 4:1-19; Act 3:13-26; Joh 5:19; Rev 14:12]
